Motorola V3xxIn continuation of the iconic V3 series from Motorola the latest offering is RAZR V3XX. Few mobiles have changed the course of mobile design like v3 did and V3xx does not disappoint. At just 107 grams and few mm shaven of its predecessor it looks way cooler than the previous model. It feels solid in hand and can be carried around in shirt and trouser pockets with ease. Being the one of the first phones with High Speed Downlink Packet Access, it also comes in with latest version of the opera web browser, stereo streaming using blue tooth headset and slightly better call quality. While V3i and V3c had only 65k screen this one is equipped with a 240 x 320 pixel, 265k screen that is very good. The external display is a CSTN one, which shows 65k, colors. The battery also has beefed up from its processor. While V3x had an 840 mAh battery this one is 940 mAh providing talk time of five hours. The biggest feature that separates it from rest of the RAZR line up is that it boasts of HSPDA facilities, which allow it to transfer data at astounding rate of 1.6Mbps. The main camera is 1.3 mega pixels, which can also record video. But it's a puzzle why Motorola has decided to down grade the camera module from 2 mega pixel in V3x. it a pity really that imaging department should let down such brilliant construction. The secondary VGA camera is pretty good and does its job adequately. The phone supports MPEG4, H.263 and .3gpp for playing videos. Its music playing abilities are also pretty good as it supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC formats. The music player in itself is pretty good and gets most things right though equalizers were a let down. Various themes can be and pre installed ones are pretty good one can also download themes from internet. The mobile supports Java, midp2.0, and midi, MP3 and Aac files can be set as call melodies. It got an on board memory of around fifty MB which is more than what most phones offer and it has a micro SD slot which enable it to expand memory up to 2 GB. There is plenty of room for all the numbers you ever need to store. There are 100 entries with each entry having six phone numbers, three different e-mail addresses, a Web address, up to three street addresses, a nickname, even a birthday and notes. The supported E Mail clients are POP3 and IMAP4. The synchronization to pc is done via USB cable and blue tooth. Pros:
