On the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea lies the region known as Dalmatia that is mostly located in Croatia and which spreads it between an island known as Rab in the northwest and the Gulf of Kotor that lies in the southeast. The climate here is Mediterranean with hot and dry summers and warm as well as wet winters, and you can be assured that you will get plenty of sun in Split; more than in most parts of Europe.
