There are four counties in the Croatian part of Dalmatia whose cities include Zadar, Split and Sibenik as also Dubrovnik. A visit to one of the better known cities of Dalmatia known as Split, which is the largest as also the most important city in Dalmatia will bring you to a tiny peninsula that lays on the east coast of Adriatic Sea and it is located between the Gulf of Kastela and the Split Channel. The climate here is Mediterranean with hot and dry summers and warm as well as wet winters, and you can be assured that you will get plenty of sun in Split; more than in most parts of Europe.
